Dr. Diana I. Ramirez is a native Texan who was born in El Paso, Texas and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston where she received a Bachelor of Science.  Throughout her undergraduate studies, she worked as a dispensing optician/doctor’s assistant, and was part of a non-profit group called Prevent Blindness where she would volunteer at vision screenings for people in need.

She received certification from the American Board of Opticianry so she could better understand the optical needs of patients, and moved on to graduate from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry. She is licensed in Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr.  Ramirez has worked in various clinical settings including Pediatric Optometry, and is skilled in diagnosing and treating clinical conditions of the eye, such as: refractive errors, infections, ocular injuries and diseases of the eye.

Dr. Ramirez speaks fluent Spanish and strives to keep up with the newest and best treatments so she may offer the best care to her patients.  It is her mission to keep the eyes of her patihealthealthy and seeing well.
